Recently CBS released the list of top-3 best & worst rated Wimbledon and US Open finals.

Interestingly Steffi Graf's 3 wimbledon finals placed on top-3 highest rated list of Wimbledon ladies finals.

  2. 1989 Wimbledon final:  Steffi Graf vs Martina Navratilova 4.5

Note: Steffi is the winner in all those matches.

Steffi Graf Voted the World's Greatest Sportswoman of All Time

BILD’s reporters in Germany were asked to nominate their top ten greatest ever sportswomen.
And perhaps it's no surprise that tennis goddess Steffi Graf (40) - the last woman to complete the Grand Slam in a calendar year - emerged as the unsurprising clear victor.
There was also room for fellow tennis legend Martina Navratilova and sprinter Florence Griffith-Joyner - as well as a few surprises!

Steffi Graf becomes ambassador for Unilever again.

The unilever company re-activates it's earlier advertising icon,Steffi Graf in this year.
The great german,Steffi Graf becomes ambassador again for Unilever company after 12 years.Previously she worked from 1994 to 1998 for Rexona deodorant.

Interestingly,she is still most popular even she retired 11 years back in 1999.

She also operates Mrs.Sporty fitness centres in various countries since 2005.Mrs.Sporty has 336 clubs in her home country,Germany and 35 plants in Austria and 5 in Italy and Switzerland.

Adidas also reactivated their most successful ambassador ,Steffi Graf since 2004. She also an ambassador for Barilla,Teakanne,Opel,Adidas,Canon,T-mobile,Head,Genwoth...etc!

The Unilever contract comes to activation  from august or september.

Steffi voted "Mother of the Nation" in Germany

In a representative poll by the well-reputed opinion research institute EMNID for "BILD am Sonntag", the Sunday edition of the boulevard magazine "BILD", Steffi has been voted as the new "Mother of the Nation".

People had to chose from a list of 20 women, and these are the places 1 - 5:

1. Steffi Graf 49%

2. Ursula von der Leyen 43% (Minister for Employment; she has 7 children)

3. Rosi Mittermaier 42% (Skiing athlete; won 2x gold and 1x silver at the 1976 winter olympics)

4. Nena 38% (singer)

5. Angela Merkel 34% (German chancellor)

Adidas released Grandslam shoe as a tribute to Steffi Graf.

Adidas re-released the Grand Slam model that first appeared in 1981 as a tennis sneaker that possessed adjusting cushioning system featuring three pegs. This shoe was originally created as a tribute to German multi-awarded tennis player, Steffi Graf who won 22 Grand Slam singles tittles, and the only player to have won all four Grand Slam singles tournaments, at least four times each year.
Graf’s excellent achievement inspired Adidas to develop the Grand Slam and now it is making a come back in a White/Gold colorway. Generally having a White leather upper, this shoe renders a neat construction that sports a perforated toe box, 3 Stripes-designed side panel, and a metallic Gold heel panel bearing the Adidas leaf logo.


The vintage textured sole features the famous 3-Plug cushioning System on the heel
area which comes in three different colors: Green/Grey/White, and next to it is an engraved Adidas branding. On the inside is a White perforated liner.
